Well over half of movies made today (some say 75%) are screenplay adaptations of novels, non-fiction books, short stories, news, magazine articles, or comic books.

Screenplay adaptations based on published source material outnumber original scripts by a wide margin.  Screenplay adaptations are the most common, lucrative and sought-after medium in the entire film and TV industries.

The Book-to-Film Division offers an exciting new opportunity for authors of fiction, non-fiction or short stories who dream of seeing their manuscripts or prose on television or at the movies.  For the first time, the Book-to-Film division provides the services of credited agents of film and television to assist you toward bringing your manuscript to the Hollywood community.

As a kind of collaborative partner, we can help you with the process of telling your story with images and dialogue.  In your book, you the author described what your characters taste, smell or feel.  As a potential movie, we will show how you the screenwriter must communicate your story to the audience in the only two senses they can experience, which are sight and sound. We will help you address this new challenge, by approaching your project as a movie with all its strengths and limitations, focusing on your primary characters, their goals and obstacles.  We will help you decide which aspects that worked in your source material will not work in your screenplay, and which ones will work. That's what makes our Book-to-Film Division so important to your decision over the adaptability of your work of art in another medium and whether or how you take that next critical step
